Battery Systems Engineering offers you a holistic planning, calculation and design of factories and production systems for mainly chemical energy storages (Li-ion cells and related products as well as battery modules and packs/racks)

My name is Tobias Grobe, I am a graduate systems engineer specialized in production systems, have planned assembly systems for the automotive industry for many years and managed projects. Since 2008 I have been working in the world of batteries in various companies, the last few years on a freelance basis as a technical consultant.

My customers are companies from the electric mobility and stationary energy storage markets as well as battery and cell manufacturers. I also offer services for machine and plant manufacturers as well as consultancy companies.

As a systems engineer, I connect the cross-discipline departments together as I speak their “languages”, hence facilitate communication, and thus help to reduce planning times, lower costs and minimize planning errors. My core topics are flexible productions, ramp-up scenarios, balanced production, resolving bottlenecks, cost optimization, production data collection and traceability as well as robust processes, quality assurance, material flow and logistics, maintainability, and ergonomics with the necessary environmental protection. In addition to production planning, I support the product development of batteries.

I look forward to interesting and challenging projects worldwide. I am familiar with many languages and cultures. My native language is German, my second language is English. In addition to Germany, I have had long professional assignments in the USA, China, England, France, Spain, India, Kenya and Brazil.
